At Cali Kids Medical Foundation, we provide coping support to families throughout their child’s medical journey. We believe the best medical care includes whole-self and whole-family care—because when a child is hospitalized or chronically ill, the impact extends far beyond the patient.

Families face complex emotional, nutritional, social, and practical challenges, and siblings are often affected just as deeply. Whole health is not limited to physical care; it includes mental and emotional well-being, nutrition, social support, environment, and spiritual resilience. When a family’s whole health is supported, they are better equipped to care for their hospitalized child and navigate the journey ahead.

This is where Cali Kids comes in. We aim to help bridge the gaps that families experience during medical crisis—offering coping support, nourishment, and connection so families can focus on what matters most.

Cali Kids Medical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving San Diego, California, and surrounding areas. Since 2016, we have supported more than 330 families through care packages, warrior and sibling gifts, workshops, events, and family-centered programs. As our community’s needs continue to grow, so do our programs.
